Toen Colciago vorig jaar voor JAS actief was mocht hij geen punten scoren voor het privateers kampioenschap. Dus ik verwacht gewoon dat hij komend seizoen ook als fabrieksrijder gezien wordt (zeker ook vanwege de situatie van Coronel).

ik weet niet zeker of dit eentje uit de btcc 2001 is, tis is een s2000 alfa en heeft ook een nieuwere neus..
hij is trouwens nieuw staat er in het artikel..

Nieuwe neus is zo aangepast, de uitbouwingen aan de zijkant zijn typisch oude-btcc-reglement. Misschien is hij aangepast om in het S2000 mee te mogen doen, maar ik kan me bijna niet voorstellen dat het competatief is.

AP-remmen waren verplicht btcc materiaal(anders zit er brembo op 'n Alfa !), zo ook achterspoiler, etc. = gewoon ex. GA btcc-car met nieuw"smoeleke" .

er staat onder tussen 1 van de chevy's van maurer te koop..
zullen ze verdergaan als team met 1 wagen ??
bastuck (wat dit seizoen met de 2de chevy reed) rijdt volgend jaar met een kissling astra in de adac procar.. maar gaan ze die 2de chevy dan verkopen..
te hopen houden ze de andere toch en maken ze hem een beetje up to date
zodat ze met radermecker misschien nog eens wat wtcc kunnen rijden...

Vanwege TV coverage betwijfel ik of dit een goed idee is.
Bovendien is er ondanks de extra tijd tussen de races voor de teams geen extra tijd om aan de wagens te werken.

Huisman was nooit in de running voor dat stoeltje, die zit nog steeds te hopen op een 2e RBM stoeltje. En het lijkt er op dat als dat stoeltje er gaat komen het dan gaat tussen hem en Goransson.

Spanjaard Felix Portiero word teamgenoot van Zanardi bij het BMW Team Italy-Spain voor een full seizoen wtcc!

Everything will be new to me and I will do my best to get over the apprenticeship period and break into the top positions as soon as possible.”

Ik heb Portiero in 2003 goed gevolgd in z'n seizoen bij KTR in de World Series en het is een kerel zoals jij hem ontleed. Zeer nuchter en realistisch, kan redelijk goed afstellen en is in duels "been hard".

Buiten het fijt dat hij nog enkele circuits gaat moeten leren kennen, lijkt me de WTCC dan ook bijna op maat geschreven voor hem. Ik ben alvast heeeeel benieuw hoe hij het gaat doen.

Rangoni blijft bij Proteam, Sharp zijn teamgenoot?

In 2006 Sharp starred at the wheel of a JAS Motorsport Honda Accord during the first half of the WTCC season and then claimed the FIA European Touring Car Cup at Estoril in a GR Asia SEAT León

WTCC komt naar Zandvoort! CPZ heeft een 3-jarig contract getekend, en op 6 mei 2007 zal de eerste WTCC race op zandvoort een feit zijn.

Mooie opsteker weer, 2007 gaat een goed jaar worden voor NL qua autosport. Een F1 team, een nederlandse sponsor bij een topteam in F1, en races in NL van WTCC, DTM, A1GP, Champcars en natuurlijk de Masters of F3.

Natuurlijk gebeurt dit weer nadat ik ben geemigreerd.... Murphys law anyone? ;)

Ik hoef nu steeds minder ver te gaan reizen voor de steeds grotere en leukere evenementen. Nu nog een grote endurance race (LMS, Fia GT) en alles is voor mij kompleet.

Hoewel de Raad van State zich nog dient uit te spreken over de definitieve toewijzing om de bestaande geluidsvergunning voor Zandvoort uit te breiden, blijft Ernst optimistisch nu er een nieuw topevenement aan de kalender is toegevoegd.
(ook volgens dat zelfde krantenbericht).

Maar de A1 is natuurlijk ook doorgegaan!

Zoveel lawaai maken die WTCC's toch niet? En als RBM er mag testen, waarom zouden ze er dan niet mogen racen? Natuurlijk is een volle grid iets luider als een enkele wagen, maar dan nog. Dus ik denk dat het qua geluid wel goedkomt.

(alfa is toch al redelijk 'oud' net als de accord, en van de chevy's zijn er geen meer vrij denk ik, tenzij rml er heeft bijgebouwd en jah bmw is rwd)
