Robertshaw Racing have reportly purchased two Chevrolet Lacettis to run in the 2008 BTCC. The cars have been bought engineless, from Denmark, and are expected to replace the two Honda cars they intended to run for drivers Alan Taylor and Michael Doyle.

Tom Onslow-Cole and West Surrey Racing have ended their cooperation. The 2006 British Clio Cup champion joined WSR for last years BTCC season. The split betwein Tom Onslow-Cole and WSR has come as a surprise, after Onslow-Cole had impressed in his first season with the team. At the end of his first season in Touring Car racing he finished 10th in the championships rankings.
