Welke nieuwe F1 teams zijn in aantocht?
Het maximale budget van € 30 miljoen voor het seizoen trekt heel wat nieuw volk aan. Gaan we weer 22, 24 of 26 wagens?

We weten al redelijk snel welke 3 nieuwe teams er in 2010 op de grid staan:

In Renault wandelgangen wordt er al eens in het Spaans gefluisterd als zou Epsilon Euskadi een mogelijke kandidaat zijn.

Niet geheel onwaarschijnlijk gezien de welwilendheid waarmee Spaanse sponsors in deze, zogenaamde barre, tijden geld storten in de autosport. Het nieuwe "barema" voor de F1 zou geheel binnen de mogelijkheden liggen, en Spaanse rijders en Spaanse circuits met belangen zijn er legio, evenals Spaanse steden die wel eens graag voor het voetlicht willen treden (Valencia, Bilbao, Aragon, Barcelona,...)

Of zien we binnenkort een alliance Epsilon Euskadi - V8 Renault met rijders Alonso en zeg maar ... Algersuari of Mehri ?

Maar zoals gezegd : het zijn maar Spaanse fluisteringen in de rand...

Ik moet dat nog zien. Deelname aan Le Mans en LMS kregen ze niet gefinancierd, en dat is vergeleken met F1 financieel gezien toch kinderspel.

As AUTOSPORT revealed earlier today, the court case that took place in Paris yesterday revealed the list of teams serious about joining F1 was Wirth Research, Lola, USF1, Epsilon Euskadi, RML, Formtech, Campos and iSport.

Ik las het ook. Het blijkt dus om Adrian Campos te gaan en niet over GP2 team Campos Racing (sinds dit seizoen niet meer in eigendom van Adrian Campos).

Ik heb sterke twijfels bij een aantal teams die nu genoemd worden. Adrian Campos had b.v. interesse in WTCC, echter kon dit financieel niet rondkrijgen.

Volgens Vigneron op RTBF zijn er heel wat kandidaten:
- Campos
- Superfund
- March
- Brabham
- N Technology
- USF1
- Lola
- Prodrive
- Epsilon Euskadi
- Formtech/Lotus

Op het forum kom ik dan nog namen tegen als Wirth Research, iSport en RML...

RML heeft uiteindelijk niet ingeschreven.

Prodrive, USF1 en Epsilon maken volgens mij de meeste kans.

Het team dat ik eigenlijk wel verwacht had maar waar je niets over gehoord hebt is ART Grand Prix. Dit topteam uit F3 en GP2 heeft in het verleden wel kenbaar gemaakt de stap naar F1 te willen maken.

iSport komt voorbij in de welbekende boekjes Wirth is ook bezig met een deelname maar niet op eigen naam. Wirth is de tussenpersoon voor een nog onbekende partij.

Het zijn Campos, US F1 en Manor?? geworden

Alledrie staan ze op de lijst met Cosworth motor

persbericht FIA http://www.fia.com/en-GB/mediacentre..._entrants.aspx

Volgens autosport.com is Manor Grand Prix een team rond John Booth en Nick Wirth en waren ze vroeger actief in F3 http://manormotorsport.mfbiz.com/
