Ickx, die sinds begin vorig jaar in de DTM actief is, voelt zich duidelijk niet thuis in de klasse en wordt ook door andere rijders als een gevaar voor zichzelf en voor anderen beschouwd. "Als je drie rondjes achter haar aan rijdt, neemt ze drie rondjes lang in elke bocht een andere lijn", hoorden we dit weekend weer eens van een DTM-coureur, wiens naam ons zojuist spontaan ontschoten is.

Vanina zal naar alle waarschijnlijkheid niet meer plaatsnemen in een DTM-Audi, volgens de andere rijders is ze echt een gevaar op de weg en ook voor haar zelf.

Wie haar op de nurburgring zal vervangen is nog niet bekend.

Vanina kon, om wat voor redenen dan ook, niet overtuigen in de DTM. In de Belcar en LMS liet ze toch aardige dingen zien. Ok, nivo is daar wel 1 of 2 tandjes lager maar ze was zeer snel in de regen. Toch een indicatie dat ze iets van talent in haar kont moet hebben. Ik blijf erbij, ze is een endurance-tante en geen sprint-miep.

Daarnaast heb ik geen al te hoge pet op van het team TME (lees: Kolles kolderbrigade). Samenloop van omstandigheden? Jammer, heeft ze tenminste tijd voor de 24 uur van Zolder op een Viperke

Ik lees het ook net op autosport.be. Jammer voor haar maar het zat er gewoon aan te komen.

Laten we nu maar hopen dat we ze terug in een LMP zullen zien, daar waar ze toch beter tot haar recht komt.

Benieuwd wie haar opvolger zal worden bij Futurecom/TME.

Laten we het beste hopen voor Vanina. Zou ze egl wel eens in de Viper willen zien rijden.

Ben eens benieuwd naar de afloop van dit verhaal. Vind persoonlijk dat ze ni echt overtuigend rond toert in de DTM. Maar is het niet zeker dat ze in de Viper aan de start komt van de 24 uren van Zolder ?

Dat is spijtig, ik vind ze een vaste waarde bij het daikin team tijdens de 24u van Zolder, zeker toen ze nog met de mini reden

In een intervieuw met D'Ieteren Magaziene liet Vanina verstaan graag terug te keren naar de endurance. Maar rijdt toch liever achteraan in de DTM dan vooraan in een regionale koers.
