Komend weekend is het de eerste meeting vd Spaanse F3, Verdonk zal er bij zijn in de rangen van Llusia Racing.

Na het éénmalige optreden van Verdonk in de Spaanse F3, gaat nu Soulet proeven van de Spaanse F3.
Hij gaat donderdag en vrijdag testen op Jerez bij Racing Engineering (het team van Alfonso de Orleans) in een Dallara Toyota. Het zou gaan om een soort selectie test van Repsol die de beste 4 piloten selecteerd en ze dan 3/4de van het budget schenkt voor een seizoen Spaanse F3 in 2007. Hopelijkt lukt het voor Maxime een goede indruk natelaten tijdens de test en dat hij zo volgend jaar in Spanje aan de slag kan, mag gezien z'n ervaringen van de laatste maanden niet zo moeilijk zijn... Idd spijtig.
Racing Engineering heeft met Mailleux toch wel een sterke piloot aangetrokken. Kijk maar hoe Mailleux de Formule Renault 2.0 Winter Series in Groot-Brittannië won, vier overwinningen in vier races. Wie deed hem dat voor? Juist ja, Kimi Räikkönen. Bruno Mendez heeft in Spanje de Master Junior Formula gewonnen, een soort Formule BMW. Siso Cunill kennen we dan weer van bij ons uit de FR1.6. Nil Monserrat reed al in de Spaanse F3, bijna altijd in de top 10, maar nooit op het podium.
